Hey diddle diddle we went out on the piddle, By the light of the silvery moon.
The UK Webloggers Christmas Party was the second party of the weekend for me...it felt distinctly odd sitting down to a pint of Guinness what felt like mere minutes after shaking off the grim embrace of the hangover of the night before.
But hey!
Some Blogging Brits went down The Well, to make their faces known
'Twas good to meet so many people, but at the same time it was a shame I didn't get to chat to so many more. I think Gert has an account that somehow conjures up a lot of the...the spirit of the evening for me...
Bloggers should know when to stop, and leave champagne alone...
It was a good night. Good to put faces to names, and...well, to be honest, names to other names. Thankfully there was no dancing, although I remember rounding off the evening chatting to two guys who were...media-y, and rather than talking blogging or national newspapers or television, we were having a heated discussion about the social dynamics of one of the fishtanks.
A big thanks to Rich Wild for organising it (did you get the deposit back?) and a massive thank you to everyone who actually went. Christmas singing only broke out once, briefly, and there was no Spandau Ballet to be heard.
Phew.
There's an incomplete list of the attendees just here, so that'd be first stop for anyone hunting amusing drunken rambles or juicy gossip...
Who, me?

Champagne and chips. Its about all I can remember.
Whose bright idea was it to get the champagne in at the end of the night?
Brill night - cheers for coming Stuart!
cmon, show us the pictures of blogger-snogging. hee!
Rich - you so know whose silly idea the champagne was, I can't believe you're now denying responsiblity
Stuart - love the poem!
