Interesting evening. Gh came to the rescue in our truncated party situation on the Eve of 2004, for which I am eternally grateful. At the pub, The Teletubbies were in and getting drunk and rowdy, Hitler apologised for accidentally stepping on my foot, and I didn't get the smell of the string of French onions out of my clothes until the next day.
But that's another story.
Upon bouncing down the stairs to my belovéd coffee house this morning, I notice that today's one-off virtual coffee machine is very sleek, shiny, and bizarrely streamlined. A cup of my favourite Java was waiting for me...before I'd ordered it.
Which only goes to show the superiority of virtual coffee machines. On this most traumatic of Monday Mornings, the first of the working year, when the weeks span out ahead...*shudder* your coffee is already here. Thank feck.
All that remains is that you order it.
