Out of the blue, I have been invited to go camping in Wales this weekend.
Gower is, apparently, stunningly beautiful and the perfect place to roll up with an entourage of tents and alcoholic beverages to indulge in nature's gifts.
At least I suspect that is what some of the group would tell the police, if pressed.
It is the birthday of a good friend from university, and the last chance I will get to see him before he buggers off to Australia on the first leg of travelling around the world for as long as he feels like it.
He hasn't met Krissa or spoken to her, but he encouraged me to hurry up and get myself to New York so he has somewhere to crash when he eventually gets there.
Wonderful to know you've always got your friends for support, isn't it?

Ah yes, the Gower Peninsula. Its a really lovely place :-)
Some days there is mental surf at Rhossili bay, other times its dead clam. Or perhaps calm. Who can say? Have fun :-)
The first and last time I went there (it was August) it rained so hard, even the locals commented adversely about the weather.
And we had to clean the bog before we dared use it
And found rat poison pellets in the larder.
Get yerself over that there Atlantic instead!
Ah, Gower. Tis lovely, lovely. One set of grandparents live in Llanelli so I've been there on a fair few holidays. Gets a double thumbs-up from me.
No idea about Gower (yes he WAS a cricketeer I think) but I like the idea of arriving in New York with a place to stay.
Whaddya mean I'm not your mate!!! ;-)
I've never been to Gower so I can't talk about how pretty it is, but camping is a treat! Don't forget your marshmallows!
I got my CD today in the post!!! yippee and thank you tons! I haven't had a chance to give it a listen yet but I will on my way to work tonight!
