Nothing ever goes to plan for me.
Nothing.
My pack for the interview tomorrow has been complete since yesterday morning...only, in finally checking the dimensions of my new photos for the interview, I find that British passport-style pictures are significantly undersize.
Significantly undersized photos is all I need today to throw me into a gibbering nervous breakdown. I have the addresses and phone numbers of four places in the West End where I can get appropriate US-passport-style photos taken, but...they're in the frigging West End.
Shit.
Shit...shit.
SHIT!
That's it. I'm not taking any bloody risks with this. I'm out of here.
A post is a possibility tomorrow afternoon, and the only thing I can say with certainty at this point is that it will involve a large number of capital letters.
Wish me luck, people.

I could have told you that. Also it's on the forms. I don't think it makes that much differance though.
However any camera shop around the the city should be able to do it for you no problem.
[crosses fingers]
good luck for tomorrow!I'm really confused on my application as we sent in 4 pictures using the side on shots with the initial "can i apply" application form. The pack I got back then has the 4 pictures STRAIGHT on scribbled out under the requirements so I don't know whether to have the pictures done or not. THe annoying thing is they charge £7.50 in manchester (1 hour drive away) for the photos and they take them with a digital camera and print them out with a hp inkjet printer - I could do that at home!
does this mean i should expect that the pictures i sent for my UK passport are too big?
criminy.
Why do they have to make everything such a pain in the ass?
Good luck!
