Well done.

Hope yo see you later, all things being equal. I might try drive in from Reading directly and grab a quick bite at Nandos before dropping in the pub.

Yaaaaaaaaaaaay! Congratulations!!!

Woo-hoo!!!

Congrats!!!

Wooo!! and indeed very much of the Yayyy!!!

Permission to utter a large congratulatory whoop?

WHOOP!!!

And Hurrah. Indeed. Brilliant news, you US citizen, you. :-)

I don't think he is a citizen (yet). I think he is just allowed to be in the USA without being hunted down.

congratulations - now don't get too bladdered tonight that you can't remember where you live or do something so naughty you break your clean criminal record.

Those interviewers know a good chap when they see one (and a good looking one for that matter) - besides, what would motivate someone to leave his job, country, family and friends if not LOVE! Big time! The world is yours - congratulations and welcome to our family Stuart Darling!

Woo! You rock, dude!

(As an American, you are now LEGALLY OBLIGED to say stuff like this as often as possible.)

Wonderful news. Congratulations.

Hoopla even! Or as we say in Glasgow, that's pure gemme.

Nice one mate, best of luck on the new life in the US of A!

I must be the only one who this reminded of "Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret."

Congrats! (from one of Krissa's loyal blog readers).

The guy said that to my husband also (he was from Scotland). We are currently going through all the hassles of getting work permits, it's a nightmare! He moved here in May and we got married in July. I still can't believe how fast it happened for you. We applied for our K1 Visa 8 months before he finally got the letter to prepare for his interview.

Good luck!

Why are they sending the visa to the pub?

Why are they sending the visa to the pub?

Sorry. That certainly wasn't worth saying twice...

Congratulations! Does this make you a Yankee?

Also, the "Are you there God..." comment made me laugh out loud!

No, no, no, it's a BAR. And I certainly hope you're drinking Budweiser.

Congrats. Welcome to the country, such as it is.

Hey, now that I think of it, can we swap? I mean, your seat in the UK must be freeing up now, right? If you let me take it, I promise to do my best to protect the Queen. I'm sure the governments will go for it, gotta keep the population balanced, and all.

That's fantastic, Stuart - I'm so chuffed for you both. How very exciting!!

Yay! congrats!

YIPPEE!! Yay for you and K, am so very happy for you. Welcome to America!!

Congratulations!

Awesome news! Congratulations :)

Congratulations, sir. I hope you'll be taking a little of the humane assassination of veracity to the stateside institutions of learning.

well, congrats. hope all at the pub was fine and everyone had a good time. am pleased to say that can now go to the pub.. legally, as of today! :)

Well done that man! So how long before you get on the plane, then? (Not that we're desperate to get rid of you, of course.)

Dammit, that's brilliant news. I shall now go about my business with a big smile on my face.

Congratulations young man. Wonderful news.
