Something we were somewhat outraged about from Trivial Pursuit:
What would you get if you ordered a pint of Isitrobheli from a Zulu grocer?
I was almost tempted to let you use google, so obscure is the answer, but no, google has the answer. Honest guesses only, please...

strawberries?
I was going to go with milk, but google informs me it's strawberries??
Ach! The whole point....was that I didn't want you to use google. Ah well. Never mind.
I would have ventured goat's milk. Oh well.
If you know any Zulu (we had to study it for two years) you can figure out a lot of words by saying them out aloud.
That said, I thought it was "sour milk" till I googled it.
my guess would've been ice cream.
my guess would've been ice cream.
I would have gone with "drunk" myself :)
Nice salvage there, Olly.
Monkey brains?
It does sound like "strawberries," doesn't it, once you try to pronounce it.
Yes....sort of...although it's not much good when someone reads the question as, "What would you get if you ordered a pint of...I can't read this word...*points* from a Zulu grocer?"
Monkey's nuts.
An exercise in futility seeing that now I know the blummin answer but I'm sticking to monkey's nuts.
...well it's a hobby.
Really funny! It's almost like an appropriated English word.
I was gonna go with the half half mixture of blood and milk favoured by some tribes - but then read the comments. Thanks whoever mentioned 'google' 'answer' and 'strawberries'. *sigh*
But do you get strawberries in pints or punnets...that's the real question isn't it?
